To this day I find it irritating that MS Access requires this syntax:

I'm trying these two critters out with some good success.
For those not familiar, Orbot and Orweb are an implementation of the TOR client for Android. TOR is The Onion Router, a traceback hampering system designed to secure against eavesdropping and wiretapping of internet traffic for those that need such a thing. That includes, among others, dissidents and journalists operating within a hostile territory.
I'm glad and a little irritated at the result of looking it up. Because the result is a multi-thought pileup in my headspace highway. I usually like those, but let me list them out. One of the things I've decided in making a custom synthesizer is to re-describe the envelope. There are quite a few different envelopes out there, but nearly all of them are embellishments on ADSR: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release.
Mine is the standard envelope, but the three time measurements are redescribed: Legato, Reverse, Sustain, and Extend.
Today is American Censorship day. The day we take time out to recognize that, though not in my view a good idea, the US Congress can completely take it upon itself to make the Internet unviable as a place for free speech, innovation, and anything other than a haven for the same drek that cable companies and large scale movie studios foist off on us as their sure-hit low-risk productions. Have you ever noticed yourself shift sideways a bit after reading a particularly descriptive bit of novel. Right now I'm going through reading Zero History. I'd started it, got distracted (through no fault of the book's), and picked it back up again recently. I'm finding I read Gibson a bit more carefully ever since he said he used characters' own attention to the world around them to characterize them to the reader.
You get at most 255 letters, numbers, punctuation, and or spaces you can stuff in the full path of a file in Windows.
It says so if you dig in to what passes as documentation these days: a huge web indexed list of articles no one thinks to read unless they stumble into them via searching for explainations on the web.
What's up with the deliberate mispellings? I'm about to play a little game with Klout. I'm feeling inspired by a friend's surrealist tweets and Klout's lack of ability to pigeonhole him into distinct and recognizable topics. First phase of the game is just to get Klout to recognize he's influential in surrealism. For goodness sakes, he indirectly spawned this game, I should hope so.
